850 years. It's survived lightning which has
removed the top [the losses were in 1500]
forest fires, & the flood of 1964.
Overall height of the tall redwood was 298 feet, &
it now stands at 245 feet. Diameter at the base is
14.7 feet & 3 feet at the top. Total volume of board
feet is 104,350, which would build several homes.
